Hi community:)

I have a a question for all you LW2 experts out there regarding crit/doge details. In a disscusion way back I found out that I didn't understand all things completely.

My question is how do doge and crit really work? What do they and whot don't they promote/demote.

My current understanding is as follows:

If crit rolls it will promote a hit into a crit, a graze into a hit, but will not promote a miss.
If a dodge rolls, it will demote a crit into a hit, a hit into a graze, but will not affect a graze or a miss.

Is this correct?

Not quite. The game makes two rolls independently, one for crit and one for dodge.

If the dodge roll succeeds but the crit doesn't, then it will downgrade a hit to a graze and a graze to a miss.

If the crit roll succeeds but the dodge doesn't, then it will upgrade a hit to a crit, and a graze to a hit.

The only other thing to bear in mind is that negative dodge adds to crit chance. However, apart from that, dodge is capped at 100%, and crit is clamped to between 0 and 100%.
