I was excited to do my first SnG mission, but when I fought my way to the mark, there was nothing there - I saw some videos on Youtube, and there should be a loot crate there right?
Anyone can help me?

Can you provide a savegame or a screenshot at least? There should be crates with the green star tiles marking where to stand so you can open them.

Hmm, looks like a map error of some kind. Are you using any additional map mods? Also, do you have a save of this mission?

Attaching files here in the forum doesn't work (you'll get an error saying the file is too big), so most people will upload the save to a file sharing service (googledrive, dropbox, etc) and then post the link to the file here.

I use a few mods - probably this is the problem - but not the additional maps.

This is the mods that I use:

gothca again
tactical suppressors
easier war: pod sizes, misc options, dark events
peek from concealment
avenger events
and some cosmetic mods, those probably not interfere with the map.

To provide a save file go to the filesharing service of your choice (dropbox, googledrive, zipshare, mega etc), upload the file there and just post a link here so we can download the save and have a closer look.

I loaded your save game without the mods you are using (it did gave me the warning prior to doing so) and the mission was completely bugged - there was no EVAC zone and no mission pointers. The one that you showed on the screenshot simply does appear for me.

It seems there is a mod conflict somewhere. Better check first whether the Easier War mods were properly updated for Long War 2 1.3.

Yeah somehow I knew I should have waited for the mods to update to the new version.

I disabled all my mods, started a pure LW2 campaign, only with some cosmetic mods, witch were all listed as working in this thread:

But my Smash and Grab mission is still bugged.
Any ideas?

Did you delete your \My Documents\My Games\XCOM2\XComGame\Config folder? If not give that a try.

I tried it, but sadly it didn't help.
Looks like I need to get back to 1.2

Try to simply reinstall the mod - unsubscribe, then subscribe again. If something is bugged with your game files, going back to older version might cause other bugs to happen.

Well, I unsubscribed all the mods, uninstalled x-com2, deleted my config folder, restarted my laptop, reinstalled x-com2, re-subscribed LW2, started a new game.

Now it's working!
