Stupid Question - What's a SLG

Simple as that really though who uses it? Utterly confused as it looks like a Cannon but I have Mag Cannons. My only guess is maybe an upgrade of the Shredder gun or the Sparks main gun?? However I've just lost my last Spark so it will be a while before I can get some more (I could replay the bugged mission but that feels very much like cheating) and I don't want to waste credits on a weapon I can't use. So what is it?

I thought SLG stood for Shen's Last Gift.

It might do because shens last gift is a spark. So maybe the weapon in question a Helix cannon is a spark upgrade.

If you are talking about the Helix Rail cannon, yep, that's the SPARK weapon on magnetic tier.
