Equipping soldiers during Campaign?

Just curious, how does everyone equip their soldiers during the campaign? I have over 70 soldiers and I'm trying to equip them all with the best equipment. Its not always possible as some are out on missions and then there are breakthroughs in research with new weapons and armor. And then there is a lack of elerium crystals and alloys. I don't know if it will be possible to acquire all the best equipment before end game like in vanilla Xcom.

- You'll eventually reach a point in the campaign where you'll get tons of supplies. Typically around the last quarter of the first year when a lot of your regions will have strenght too high to do missions. I normally set any region with strenght over 6 to Supply job. You'll have to deal with Supply Retals, those are easier. The full retals are trickier tho. Anyways, with those supplies you should be buying elerium and alloys from the Black Market everytime it refreshes. If you start early, you'll have less problems.

- A rather large part of your barracks will be using SMGs (shinobis, most technicals, most grenadiers, low aim specialists). Most of them won't be needing up-to-date guns. Laser SMGs can be quite sufficient for some soldiers that will rarely if ever shoot.

- High hack Specialists can net you some nifty rewards.

- You should probably have a ton of bodies you can't do a lot with. Grind them into materials. It should be very quick late game with lots of scientists and a lab.

70 seems rather a lot. 40-50 is plenty I'd have thought.

Not everyone can have the latest tech all the time. You need to prioritise - e.g. only A team can get warden probably.

120 is small barracks in my opinion. With starting 21 I usually hit 30 at the end of the March
So multiple A-Teams must still grab what they can.

Also I do not suicide rookies - best way to do a extra mission (more loot).
Shinobi alone can do the 1 day mission.
Shinobi and Specialist/Phantom Sniper are better choice for 2+ days missions.
Most people do not even bother with this kind of missions. If strength is below 5 I just can't resist. Bladenobi is just waste of perks.

Lamp post should be hacked when you miss something with high chance to hit. Game will give you more - luck?. Not working on Legendary.
My lucky number is 37% for Lamp post.
