Just a quick tip on the timer and boosting infiltration. I am sure the smarter folks out there figured this out ages ago, but if you have a mission like destroying an alien facility or the Black Site where you launch on 100% and can not infil to a higher number (like on the standard missions) it may be worth it to boost infiltration immediately after commencing the infil process (assuming you have the intel). This can really bring down the time to 100% and if time is of the essence (yes the doomsday clock is nipping at my heels) you can really take a major chunk of time off infiltration.
