Corpses not being looted

At some point half-way through my campaign, I'm no longer receiving corpses. When killing an enemy, the corpse appears as dropped in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. I've made sure to not use explosives. I've regenerated .inis, reloaded a mission and they still weren't dropping.
As such, I can't make the skulljack so my campaign is toast, unfortunately.
