Was doing a solo-stealth mission with a Shinobi who had Bladestorm. I was sitting at the hack point, in smoke, with the Evac point having landed. A Stun Lancer ran almost in a semi-circle around me (while in smoke) and struck at me from the active evac point, without Bladestorm activating once. I think the Stun Lancer also attacked me through a wall, though that is usual XCOM wackiness.
