i had a soldier trying to evac a downed teammate after destroying the disruptor during an avenger defense mission...
he picked her up (she was still alive) and he moved closer to avenger to end the turn. then during enemy turn an alien kills him with plasma gun. he drops dead where he stands (or 1 tile away from the direction the shot came from is how i think it works), and he drops the woman he was carrying (still alive).
so i sent a 3rd soldier to pick up the guy and carry him away. then i used my remaining soldiers to see if i could reclaim her body again...
while her "stabalize timer/health bar" was exactly where the carrier's body was - her body wasn't dropped near him. her body was about 6 tiles away!
at first i didn't find her body. and i sent 2 other soldiers to the location of her health bar (where he dropped dead with her in tow) to see if i could carry what i'd guessed was her invisible body. then later i saw her body 6 tiles away.
