ADVENT reacting to concealed movements?

So I know that LW2 supposedly fixed the bug where ADVENT would guard the objective even when you weren't revealed. However, I'm in a mission where ADVENT seems to be reacting to my concealed movements- when I start the mission, if I move straight ahead into cover the alien pod I discover moves to the right; however, if I move left and off the building, they patrol left, following me. I can definitely confirm that their movements depend on mine- I've tried twice each way now, and twice they've went left when I did, and went right when I went straight ahead.

EDIT: they followed me the next turn too... when I tried moving left and then waiting to see what they did, they went left and then patrolled back towards the objective; when I moved left and then moved left and up onto a roof, the pod patrolled straight towards me... >.<

EDIT2: ...okay they are literally following me. They then went up onto the exact same roof that I did and moved straight towards the ladder to the next level of the building, which I'd just moved onto. The other pack that was by their side walked straight towards my pod's present location, walking by the side of the building. And yes, I'm concealed. I'd attach a save file but it says it's an "invalid file extension."

I do notice that still happens from time to time, that's why when stealthing I tend to make my shinobi stand far away from my specialist, so the center of squad is far away and they will move away from my specialist.

For what it's worth, at least the nearest group patrolled away from me next turn, so it's not absolute; that said, something was definitely going on there.

Also as a side note- I finally got Grand Theft: VIP to work out! In one turn, had a specialist open the prison door from inside the building, use a shaped charge to blow through the fortified wall behind him, then had the Shinobi command him and pop the mobility buff, everybody extracted that turn. #feelsgoodman
