So I had a character get mind controlled by a sectoid. Unable to reach the sectoid I figured I would just stun my mind controlled character using the assaults arc thrower. Which I did.

Next turn I kill the sectoid.

After this the character never recovers from stun, I can move her around the map, but she can take no actions, and cannot evac.
