Squad Targeting not working?

Playing LW 1.2 on Windows 7 with about a dozen QoL/UI mods (SWMT, Gotcha Again, Perfect Information, Upcoming Events in Hours, Overwatch All, EVAC all, etc) which shouldn't affect gameplay.
I hacked a tower for the "Squad Targeting" buff, but it does not appear to be adding the +20 aim/crit to my soldiers: https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ ... 877C5B502/
You can clearly see the Squad Targeting buff icon in the lower left, also.
