dark event goes active while infiltration underway

While waiting for an infiltration to finish, the Dark Event that it counters went into effect. I would have expected the mission expiration to coincide with the DE activating.
Maybe the mission will still counter it?

Nope. Mission accomplished, Dark Event still active.

If you have a save that repros this problem, please send me a link to it. I don't believe I fixed this with the fix I made in 1.3 to solve the disappearing squad bug (which was also related to missions expiring) but I can't repro the DE bug.

I forgot to make a permanent save.
