Missing Decoy Research?

Hi guys, I've just remembered this useful item I used during my first vanilla run.
I think I've alredy unlocked all D&R stuff and so on and I haven't found anything about the decoy.
Has it been removed or some bug prevents it from being unlocked?

The Mimic Beacon is quite late game research in LW2. It requires a Gatekeeper Shell and the Psionic Gate to research in the Proving Grounds. So you need to have done that particular mission before you can even get it.
