Editing auto-reveals?

I have a mission where I am stealing an item from an Advent Base. I snuck my shinobi in all the way to the item without being spotted, but I cannot open the container, because when I do, it reveals her. Is there anyway to disable the fact that it reveals her? If I did all the hard work of sneaking her in without being spotted, I think I should be able to grab the item and leave again without being auto-revealed. Can this be changed by myself in the INI files or something?
