I'm tinkering around with reworking the AWC trees for my personal enjoyment and I was thinking about PCS bonuses. There are two kinds of PCS chips: flat stat bonuses (like Perception: +X aim), and abilities (like Body Shield). Considering SPARK has several of these typically PCS-granted abilities (Body Shield, Impact Fields, Combat Awareness, Damage Control...) as part of its default skill tree, it made me wonder if the PCS bonuses that grant flat stat bonuses could be added to the AWC, so that soldiers could "learn" stat bonuses.
Anyone have any insight into how this might work... or if it works at all? I'm sifting my way through the game files looking for references to the ability names that PCS chips "contain," with no luck so far... Probably can't be as simple as looking in the INI files, I guess.
