I'm not where I can post to the wiki, but in the alien only subsection of the perk list, poison spit is marked as a muton perk (should be viper), counterattack is a viper perk (should be muton) and bind and crush is not showing any alien (should be viper).

Cool to see this resource getting updated.

I took a look at it. Either that has been fixed, or it is just the formatting being a little difficult to read. Who it is for is below the perk, not above it.

I am trying to avoid spoilering LW2 too much for myself at this point, but if you seen any errors, I will be happy to update them.

yay good to see it back on old ufopaedia!

Are you in contact with the admins? It'd be really great if the "Featured Projects" menu in the nav was uncollapsed by default. It remembers your choice, but Long War 2 seems to be grabbing a lot of new users who may end up on the front of http://www.ufopaedia.org/ for the first time.

It is annoying because I think I made a very small tweak to the sidebar, but now I can't figure any thing out for changing it. Probably can't make that change anyway, but now I can't even try.

Looks like the place to ask for wiki assistance:

Under Strategy Layer/Dark Events/Tactical Dark Events there are two columns I need help with. CHANCE and WEIGHT. Chance for what? Showing up in a game or month or some other meaning? Can get nothing from weight. Your help please, TYIA.

As far as i understand it (but i didn't write that table) chance is the chance to have a unit affected on the map. So for instance every ADVENT unit have a 33% chance to get scopes once this DE is applied (or in other words, 1/3 of ADVENT units will have +5 aim).
Weight is used to determine which DE will be researched next when a DE activity occurs. Since they all have 5 except for bonus HP it means basically every DE have the same chance to be selected except on those dates where the different Conditioning DE can start (then those are the most likely to be selected).

This was my thinking initially until I read this from the Dark Events wiki page:

"Over time, the ADVENT and Alien ground forces will gain increases in combat effectiveness, as denoted by additional perks and equipment. Each upgrade applies to a limited set of enemy types, and only a certain RANDOM PERCENTAGE of enemies will actually have the upgrade."

As 33 is static I take it as a chance to happen. A chance to happen what though, per game, month or some other period. Probably game but unless verified I'll be in the dark.

As all weights in the table are either 5 or 100 I'm curious, why not use 1 and 20. I suspect you are correct on this though, LordYanaek, thanks for your help.

I think it's just bad wording. Don't forget it's a community job and those pages are written by people who are not professional manual writers and sometimes even people for whom english is a foreign language.
I think it should be understood as "a random number of enemies will have the upgrade" which is correct since you are never guaranteed to have 33% of the eligible enemies in a mission with the perk.
It's actually a chance but a chance per enemy, not per time perdiod. Imagine every eligible enemy will "roll" a d100 and if the result is 33 or less, he gains the perk. Over the course of the game you should see about 1/3 of eligible enemies with the perk but during any given mission it's entirely possible the perk applies to all of them or none.
As all weights in the table are either 5 or 100 I'm curious, why not use 1 and 20. I suspect you are correct on this though, LordYanaek, thanks for your help.
Probably because a 1-100 scale gives more freedom to the developers should they ever decide to give slightly different weights to different DE. Only the developers could answer but it's often a good idea to give yourself some "room for improvements" when designing game mechanisms. If they ever decide to give a weight of 3 to some DEs, they can do it without changing the rest of the weights. With a 1-20 scale unless they use non integer weights they would have to rewrite the individual weights of every dark even and when coding something, using float numbers (non integers) is bad practice if you don't really need them.

Those explanations make sense on both counts, LordYanaek. If 33% can have a perk then that would account for the mention of "random percentage" as it would hover around 33 but could be extremes of 0 to all enemies in very rare cases as you said. I was too focused on chance of a particular DE showing up. Got you on the weight as well.

That will be the day when I'm critical of all the folks that are here helping us gamers. I certainly appreciate their efforts. Consider this me trying to help the helpers in some small way.

Great Wiki, but there is some wrong information under Avenger Optimization.

Advanced Warfare Center
The Advanced Warfare Center provides a dedicated facility for soldiers to receive medical care; soldiers will be automatically assigned here when wounded, and healing speed is improved by 50% when it is available. Additionally, one healthy soldier may be assigned here at a time to retrain their abilities.
One Scientist may be staffed here, increasing the healing rate to a total of 100%.
As you will almost always have wounded soldiers, so you should keep a Scientist here.
AWC solder perks can be trained here and can be upgraded to allow two solders to be trained at the same time.
This facility does not synergize well with any other facility.

Guerilla Tactics School
The Guerilla Tactics School allows you to buy various upgrades for your squads, acting similar to the Officer Training School before it. It also allows one healthy Rookie to be assigned here, to be trained into one of the four base classes.
Can be upgraded to train up to two Officers at the same time.
The Guerilla Tactics School does not synergize with any other facility.

Psi Lab
The Psi Lab provides a space to train a Psi Operative in Psionics. It may be upgraded to allow a second soldier to be trained simultaneously.
The Psi Lab can be staffed by two Scientists, which will increase training speed by 50%.
It does not synergize with with any other facility.

I made the mistake of following the Wiki on this and had to destroy and rebuild.

If there's a random number of enemies then there's a random percentage of enemies, good or bad english will never change that. So the wiki wasn't that wrong.

LW2 Version 1.5 is out. Changes have been made to the Abilities on some of the Soldiers. The Shinobi is all messed up now.

Ufopedia needs to be updated.

This is posted for the Shinobi build:

Abilities: Ghostwalker, Lone Wolf, Covert, Bladestorm, Conceal, Tradecraft, Rapid Fire

The ability chart post under Shinobi is right but this build cant be done now.

Ghostwalker and Lone Wolf are both Level 1. Plus there all out of order it seems. Builds are wrong for most soldiers now.
