I just read this on a YT channel...can it really be true?

IF you have NO control points in any nation with 5 points or more
AND your Boost is less than 0.01
When you finished the tech "ALIEN OPERATIONS"

You will receive a SPECIAL FACTION ORG.
+1.5 Boost
+8 Mission Control
+5% Spaceflight Program

AFAIK it's true. Personally I never got it as it's much easier to just grab some countries with boost and MC than wait for this ORG.

No, you receive your special org after you complete your "purpose" special project.

There is another faction special Org that people rarely see simply because the requirements were just like OP mentioned. You can check it on the wiki, they are listed there.

So, what I'm hearing is, right before you finish researching Alien Operations, abandon control points in any big countries or countries with any boost, and sell or put in your uncontrolled-pool all boost orgs, and you get a nice org with +MC. Might try it on next playthrough and see if there's any value to it. I wonder if you can line the timing up for this to help Academy with their special event.

Feels kinda cheesy, ngl.

The tech tree to unlock those should be

1. Investigate Alien Crash
2. Research Alien Signatures
3. Investigate Alien Abductions
4. Research Alien Methods
5. Investigate Returned Abductees
6. Research Alien Operations

Tried to do it once, researched Alien Operations around April 2024, didn't get the Org as the boost income of 0.01 seems to refer to yearly income (was 0.1 a year at that time).

Judging by how / when the AI factions aquire those orgs, it seems that you can also aquire those retroactively (e.g. you drop to 0 boost sometime late in the campaign, you get that org).
