I've never used AP ammo, but I'm interested to know exactly what it means by "not stacking with other special ammo" -

Does it give damage reduction bonus on a Gunner with Shredder ammo Perk ? Or is it implying both Item Ammo and Perk Ammo ?

Most of my Gunners have Shredder Perk, the rest have Heat Ammo Perk. Would I be correct to assume AP-Ammo is only good for Opportunist Gunners ?

It's been an age, but that should just mean other ammo items. Perks should work fine with that ammo.

Hmm, I'm not too sure that the AP Ammo is stacking with Shredder Perk Or Heat Perk Gunners.

On my Heat Gunner I was seeing 3-5 DR for each Tap respectively on fairly primitive Cyberdiscs. From memory, that is the highest role I've seen (higher than 90% of shots taken without AP ammo) relative to Alien tech progress.

Can anyone else confirm this ?
