Trigger haven faceless missions faster
Trigger haven faceless missions faster
Is there any way to speed up how soon these missions will trigger after you've put a soldier in charge of the haven? Does having no resistance members on supply duty delay it further?
Re: Trigger haven faceless missions faster
The higher rank the soldier is, the more likely they are to discover those filthy jello men.
On a side note, making said soldier an officer might not be a bad idea, seeing how you only get a bunch of rookies to help.

Both being an officer and rank help in effectiveness.Ellie wrote:The higher rank the soldier is, the more likely they are to discover those filthy jello men.

I remember a dev implying that the psi ops class also has a bonus to detecting faceless.
Also remember that officers themselves have officer ranks; I don't know how it all works out but practically speaking you should be using your higher ranking troops on missions to ensure success; I just stick minimally ranked officers in havens and leave it at that.

What I wanna know is why I can't chuck a sensor ball at any new recruits to make sure they aren't faceless.

I've wondered if you used the specialist scanning protocol on rebels during jaibreak, if it would reveal if one was faceless, haven't tried it yet.Narcissistic_Martyr wrote:What I wanna know is why I can't chuck a sensor ball at any new recruits to make sure they aren't faceless.

Hah! That's hilarious. I hadn't thought of that, but that is a good question. Kinda like a dumb movie plot point - he's right THERE! Even John Connor wondered about infiltration of the resistance and thought to use dogs.
I suppose the dull answer is these are desperate understaffed resistance outposts barely holding it together. Or perhaps the audio clip about "we'd heard rumours about" thingie could explain it the first few times, but seriously...

Haha!! That's an excellent point (and hilarious ) Next time I'm on a Jailbreak to free some of these guys I now have a morbid curiosity to see if this works! It really should too, not sure if this is possible to implement or not... Or would it be too easy balance wise I supposeNarcissistic_Martyr wrote:What I wanna know is why I can't chuck a sensor ball at any new recruits to make sure they aren't faceless.
