You need to use the Recuit job to get new rebels. Don't rely on mission rewards, those are just bonuses. Rebels only gather supplies when they are on that job. If you change them to Supply the day before the drop you will get one day worth of supplies. Probably 10 or so. The number next to the haven...

From what I recall the AI sometimes knows exactly where you are. It's not supposed to, but sometimes the vanilla "no stealth for you!" logic kicks in for some reason.

The Concussion Rocket is also a huge smoke bomb for some reason. It also levels buildings. It's interesting for creating a no man's land for a SPARK to hang out in.

Reinforcements show up when you break concealment. ADVENT calls them in to deal with you. This happens no matter what the mission parameters are. Extremely Light is the forces stationed on site. If they spot you, they will call for help. Unlike vanilla, that help will actually be sufficient to hurt ...

It looks like it slows it until they field more troops, then it goes right back to normal speed. So basically they made another batch of ADVENT troopers rather than AVATAR prototypes that week.

Kubikiri is weird because you have to crit a wounded enemy and have the crit not kill them for it to do anything.

Turn on Red Fog (Aliens Only) and check out RealityMachina's An Easier War series of mods on the workshop.

Beginner is training mode though, it give you a lot of advantages.

BTW: It is amazing how the resistance functions when 20% of its crew are alien spies. It's more 20% of its officers are alien spies. This is why the cell structure exists. The very thing that makes it difficult for you to accumulate rebel groups makes it very hard for the faceless to take down more...

Yeah, I agree that upgrading full kit isn't necessary. Plenty of troopers are only carrying a gun because the game won't let them go in sans primary. Rendezvous are always low key, regardless of ADVENT strength. They represent ADVENT infiltrating you , so they can only send small pods.
