Re: HE grenades are broken
I don't know if you're new to LW, but a couple of points. Most things in LW get more powerful with research. This is the same with grenades. The alien grenades foundry project in EW just gives you unlimited alien grenades. In LW it gives your HE grenades +300% environmental damage. It also gives AP ...

Re: LWS announces partnership with Firaxis and 2K Games for release-day XCOM 2 mods
I love this news. I hope your mods inject some much needed menace into the game. So far in all the footage I've seen the soldiers seem quite overpowered. Re: Thank You
I just want to jump on the 'Thank you' train. As a fan of the XCOM games of the 90s, I eagerly anticipated the release of XCOM EU. To my surprise it was a great game, unlike many of the supposed XCOM spiritual successors released in the decade before. Although it was pretty and fun to play, it faile...

Re: Brainstorm: Alien Motivation
I think the key aspect of alien motivation hinges on, as Amineri says, finding a happy medium where the aliens want to get rid of us, but not by nuking us from orbit. I like the thought that the aliens are returning home. There are millions of years between the extinction of the dinosaurs and the ri...
