Modding Havens

I have a few ideas I'd like to tinker with regarding Havens but I haven't done any Xcom 2 modding yet...

Can anyone point me towards the right places to look at to find the code relevant to assigning advisors and the Haven management UI?

I've definitely seen moments where I did not get graze message but did less than minimum damage a few times. These were much earlier in the game than you all are discussing with a lot less armor/ammo specifics involved. I'll keep an eye out for it and try to get some sample saves.

The mission will list two rewards. You get the first for a kill and both for a capture. The second is often a lead towards liberating the region so you really want those. Seems like a bug if you get the tower even after a kill.

I still think there is some value in trying a grenadier focused on the flashbang/defensive side of the tree, but it would revolve around assaults/shinobis to do the damage since they don't need cover destruction. I read somewhere here that psi operative advisors also grant additional bonuses as advisors, though I'm not sure that even if that's the case you'd want to devote them to this duty. It would make sense that they could detect faceless and possibly recruit better too.

I've tried technical, gunner, specialist, and ranger so far, and of those I've mostly felt bad about losing the actions sometimes on the ranger or gunner. I've been considering shinobi though since I often leave then in stealth most of a mission and they could still contribute with some officer comm...

Especially with Red Fog enabled, when severely wounded soldiers have their mobility decreased a lot. This is exactly when I wish for it. I like how red fog works but Red Fog + timers just seems to make things too 'all or nothing' going back to you have to hit the ayyys and not get hit back to reall...
