I've used this skill once with an assault (AWC skill) at point bank on a gatekeeper. It crit for 13 but that was it, no death. It did have 7 armour pips but it was left with more than 7 HP so not sure that was the deciding factor. Lots of risk, no damned reward!

Yep this is annoying. I researched them over 1.5 months ago and still have not been able to build any. The cost I sunk into them was expecting a prototype like you get with other things. RNG hasn't given me any Elite Mutons on corpse stealer missions.

Also want to add to this that I perma-controlled a sectopod after stunning it, and for the next 10-20 turns of the HQ mission it never regained any ability to fire it's weapon. Still useful in completely obliterating the ayys cover though... lol
