Re: Increase hacking skills permanently by hacking
Not to forget it is an incentive to keep people alive and bring a (new) hacker more often.

Increase hacking skills permanently by hacking
The logical assumption is, if you do things over and over again, you get better at it.
I think this should be the case in Long War of the Chosen for hacking computer systems as well.

Walking through solid things, easy to fix?
My team camps on a rooftop in half cover. Instead of putting the rifle on the balcony, kneeling behind it to shoot they stand up right in the solid brick wall to shoot. Standing behind cover would also be acceptable but the current animation is painful to watch. Also breaks immersion for me. How diff...

Re: Peek from concealment
With the changes to marker tiles in 1.3, it might be possible to have this work regardless of manual settings.
I just don't have enough details on that changelog note yet to be able to tell

Added make heals persist to my list.
I think it is not intuitive if healed soldiers end in the infirmary for months even though they were taken care of on the battlefield.

Marker tile changes in 1.3?
- Adjust accessibility of some of the marker tile variables to make them more mod-friendly. 2260 This is from the changelog and i wonder what exactly changes? Very cool mod. Maybe with the 1.3 changes to marker tiles, the small visual problem can be fixed as well.Littlebob86 wrote:Peek from concealment! Finally can peek around high cover or from ledges and not get spotted!! I edited the ini because the default isn't good in my opinion.

Europeans are more into direct bank transfers. Paypal or PaysafeCards for transactions is a bit more common although you can't count that people have it.

MAKING THE WAR LONGER: I posted my suggestion earlier in a different topic but I think it is more relevant here. I suggest a new "game mod" within the Long War 2 - it is an awesome work and I think it has all the tools to make "LIBERATION GREAT AGAIN". Avatar project and the mas...

Sad to see that funding is limited to debit and credit cards.
This excludes quite a few people from funding.

Keeping the doomtimer at bay should be made possible. Not easy but with a little bit of effort to put in.
Absolutely in favor of this idea.

Re: Peek from concealment
Also the mod is suffering from a lack of ability to change the red warnings indicating when you are about to break concealment so basically you don't really know where it was safe to move without counting tiles or things like that. This was something that the mod author couldn't fix as it would req...

Why do people have to create their own version though? Isn't that something worth having a global function they could all connect with?

I'd love such a bonus. Quite a few mods out there improve stealth gameplay.

Pathing&Concealment compatibility
I was wondering with all these lovely mods mentioning custom pathing & hardcoded concealment, if the benefit of having this hardcoded in native code brings enough performance benefit to outweight the work & slowdown by having mod authors redoing it themselfes. I have seen it being mentioned ...

Re: List of what do you want to see so much
Thankfully perfect information doesn't touch those calculations at all. It just asks the game what it calculated and tells you that. Right now the calculation is governed entirely by LW2. Maybe but it is still not working 100% for LW2 and its author said For how the calculation is done I have to ch...

Re: List of what do you want to see so much
It would be cool to see these implemented natively in LW2, although Julian does have a point. Even if the code from these mods can be copypasta'd into LW2 with no problems, Pavonis would still be taking on the responsibility of maintaining this functionality going forward. They only have so much ma...

Re: List of what do you want to see so much
I could make a lot of suggestions about mods that should be incorporated into LW2. However, I think the devs are busy trying to balance and polish the changes in their creation, which is important. The topic seems to be about more than just balancing. Having features of common mods in this gets rid...

Re: Is LW2 like a Second Wave Option?
Changing the thing in flight is an obvious bad idea so it was more like:
If i start a new campaign, can we decide if we want to do it classic or LW style?
Maybe offer LW after a full completion and unlock it that way

If you install this Longwar2 mod, would it be possible to have all the extra content be just a setting so that people that want to see the difference can just switch it off?

In the days of LetsEncrypt there is no need for a website without any advertising and analytics scripts to not offer encrypted connections.
