I reveal the perks too.
It's SO much more fun being able to see what's coming up at higher levels, because that's where the perks start to get really interesting.

Missions are always present, whether you know about them or not. Right, but one mission existing prevents a duplicate from spawning concurrently, which means if you discover a mission you really want with a very short timer, it's optimal to send a rookie in there to instantly evac and fail the miss...

Incidentally - as there's an advantage to be gained from doing that - we need a way to get missions off the map without sending a single rookie who pops the flare and leaves. It's way too high, I also modded the time but down to 1 day per rank. And I still only did it twice in my most recent campaign. I think it might be more effort to code than it's worth, but it would be cool if you send them for retraining, and choose which perks to free up, then maybe it takes 1 day ...

The new mission info pane is great. Noticing a lot of missions are 'revealed start' which should cut down on the cheesy steath missions - great change!

This is why I create a backup of my ini mods.
I've then used Notepad++ (64bit) and a compare plugin (64bit version here) for it to carry across the changes I made without overwriting the changes the patch made.
