However, let me point out that the fun in games like this is supposed to be in the learning experience, not the outright victory (although that is surely nice when it comes). It's not permanent. Vigilance is an Ops dark event. I had it come around twice.

I think it only checks for instant research only when you complete a research project. I've noticed that I can't change research and get an instant autopsy when I hit 10 corpses. But once whatever I was currently researching completes I get the notice for it being instant.

Does that mean that if you want a tank to absorb hits, you want a low defense and high dodge? Low defense so the enemies target the tank instead of someone else but hi dodge to downgrade their shots?
btw where can I see a person's defense stat? It's not listed when you look at a soldier.

There's a point when you accumulate enough corpses that autopsies become instant. I try to wait for that on most autopsies and just work on big projects unless I'm out of funds.

It looks like you can skip tiers, I've never worked on the projects for weapon mods and in my list I have one that would give me advanced expanded magazines, because I picked up 3 in my last mission. How many supplies does it cost to make the mod after you finish the project?

I've tried different lower the training time edits, but when I load my in progress game the training times are unchanged. Do these edits only impact new campaigns?

Is skullmining the only way to get facility leads?
I was reading the description for skullmining and it seemed to infer that you can get a facility lead from skullmining. I haven't seen a facility lead anywhere else in the game. Is this the only way to get those?
