Maybe if he had a gunner instead of the sharpshooter for suppression, things may have been slightly better...

I did weep a bit So much went wrong in that mission, the Chryssalid activation on the concealed shinobi, and the activation of 3 pods at once. The sharpshooter not having a good place to stand and shoot, bad luck with aims...

To each their opinion I suppose. I do not find it easy at all to recover from losing good soldiers. and I often find I do not have enough skilled soldiers to load squads for missions...

Always? no. But for havens I keep technical, usually I can set ablaze the first squad of a rendezvous. A good game with a technical relies on being able to burn well while concealed. Without that, the flamethrower is not used well(I sometimes use it instead of the main gun because it is guarantied damage on the one target) Burn when concealed ? Wow, I didn't know Shaped Charge was so loud. Has anyone tried using a Rookie with one as a $20 map-wide mimic beacon? Lol that's terrible and inhumane :lol: On a serious note though, most missions are not even worth 20 supplies. Also, thanks for the link RXTXK that was the link I had then lost.

I remember I once found a table showing each weapon and how far its sound travels. I can't seem to find it again. Can anyone provide me with that info?

Just to clarify, on steam I am now up to 100 hours, the 60 hours are just purely long war 2.
It's mostly just restarting the game, playing veteran and still never managed to liberate one zone, I suck at it lol.
