Implacable can be fun, especially when you can drop someone with your first shot then move into flank/pointblank for another kill. The Rupture perk is a special shot that has a high crit chance and does 3 rupture, but it needs to hit and is only available once every 4 turns. I get the feeling not many folks use fixed squads, but I do. I try to put together groups that play well together, with some spare soldiers to deal with wounds or tube time. Flamethrower technicals can just go down the right side. I use this build if they have high Def and weak Aim. AFAICT Roust does benefit from all the relevant talents. I go with more specialized builds. You can pretty much go down the left side and have a great aggressive ranger who will kill 1 or 2 targets per turn, even if they're in cover.
