From an european point of view, that destroys immersion a bit. We do not view the EU as a nation and we do not identify as europeans rather than one's nationality. Creating such unified nation was tried in Yugoslavia, but did not work out. May be in 100 years or so that will happen, but not today. T...

I think that it doesn't fill the bucket until you see the Reinforcement Imminent thing. At least that is my experience.

You can make a check on your next Hack objective mission if you want to be sure. The Restart Mission Mod would let you do that even on an Ironman game.

Yes. It is even said in the first post in the thread.

You are supposed to get everything you want and get out before (or just as) the timer expires. The officer skill Intervention is especially useful on this one.

When you complete the objective (whatever it is) all pods are alerted and converge on the (former) objective. You were really unlucky with the pod sneaking behind you. You should add that a Demagogue in an impoverished country have higher persuasion. Or in a country that has some sort of crisis.

The real life use case is Hitler. He wasn't very popular until the Great Depression.
