I'm curious about something: in LW1 controlling the enemy was a must and many strategies were based on it. Suppression was the most efficient way to do that. Did you guys change the way suppression works? In vanilla xcom 2 overwatch penalty is applied to the shot and enemies didn't care much about ...

Does Steady Weapon carry on to Overwatch/other forms of reaction fire done on the next turn? How does the blade differ to the sword? Steady Weapon works generally like it did in LW-EW; it persists until you take a shot or use ability that costs an action, so it goes away if you move or go into Over...

That's probably too broad of a question to meaningfully answer. We turned off one vanilla optimization setting because it was causing LOS through walls and ceilings, so missions may load a little slower. One of the things I loved about LW, is that you were expected to not win every mission available. (assault carriers on the first few months, trap missions, etc). Are you guys going to have a similar approach on LW2, on being expected to not take every mission or even expected to fail some missions?...

The base assault maps are all using Forge-sized map bounadries, which are the largest in the game except for the Fortress.

Can you say wich one of the new mission types are multi-part missions? Not quite how we arranged them. An example of a multi-mission quest line is any mission set against a UFO. All those assets can be easily extracted from our existing mods or Long War 2 after it's published using the game's mod tools, and we probably don't have staff time to put together separate downloads for likely a limited audience.

We may be able to do a separate coilgun pack for players.

A minor question, but a pertinent one for me, I run a mod that adds lots of countries not included in the base game as countries of origin for my soldiers.
