Saturation Fire does not apply special ammo buffs and other effects

Heya, just noticed that my Gunner equipped with Viper rounds doesn't apply poison to any of the targets hit with Saturation Fire. Nor does the kills gotten with Saturation Fire trigger on-kill effects, such as Combat Rush PCS. Haven't noticed yet if anything else works, but presumably it doesn't - tried the same thing with two Gunners in two different missions, and it didn't work either time.
