So, as it is clear from the topic name. I get a bug when i start the 'defend liberated region mission' before i can make any moves at all. Only the game crashes - OS is fine.
Not sure how to upload the log and the save file- it's too big for adding here. I can upload them in somewhere else and give a link. Till then I've added the screen of the last log lines.

Really would prefer not to give up the region because of this bug.

True Concealment for LW2.

Do they both edit mission timers?
If they do - you have conflict.

Google - edit your timers yourself .

Thx, I'll try. But it didn't cause problems in other missions and i think what True Concealment does is just increment timer value by one while your squad is fully concealed.
But still, I'll check it out.

So, an update.
I think i've disabled all of the mods that were possible to turn of without breaking the game and it didn't help. Same error on the same place.

Got to earlier save before mission is generated . Current mission will remain bugged.

Load order should be
Long War 2
True Concealment for LW2
LW2 Tactical Suppressors
LW Alien Pack

Every Long War mod should be loaded after Long War

TimerTweaks - remove this (vanilla mod). Every mission is affected and your game is probably broken if this file has overwriten Long war files
Free Camera rotation - I had problems with this and Long war 2. Possible conflict .

I'm playing on ironman, so there is no earlier savefile, sadly )
As I understood, you suggest deleting (not disabling) all mods, and than installing only those that you've listed?

Remove . LW Alien Pack - you don't need this, it is in Long War 2 already

Rest of mods should work cosmetic , maps ,pcp, music, voice in any load /download order. Gameplay changes must be compatible with Long war - they must be written for Long War 2. .

So, an update.

I think I've tried everything. I've deleted and installed the different mods in different order. I even tried deleting and reinstalling the game with cleaning every single xcom related files from my PC.

The error perseveres.

And another thing. After deleting and reinstalling the game, I had an advent spy mission right before the one that crashes and it went completely fine.

Ok, so I did finally find a way to go around this bug by changing all the squad members I've sent on this mission. Very-very strange.

Nope, the damn thing crashed several turns after...

managed to get through this with the help of the console... i hope this won't happen again...

Start new game.
LW2 Alien pack has already broke your game.
