Adding Perks to the "Pool"

Post by Doctor Sticks »

If I have a mod, like Shadow Ops, is there way to just add the perks to the perk pool, without replacing the classes, if, for example, I want to rework existing classes and update them with those new perks?

Class perks are set in XComClassData.ini in the mod.

Thanks, this will help me rework current trees.

But what do I do to "just use" these perks, without bringing the rest of the mod over?

Or should I just use the mod, but rename classes/rework the trees from scratch to effectively recreate the original classes?

I don't know specific about the mod itself, but if they are replacing the LW classes and you wanted to keep them you'd have to edit the mod configs to remove everything they do. The perks themselves should be available otherwise I would imagine.

In the end it shouldn't much matter whether the changes are in that mod or LW configs, as long as they don't conflict or overwrite each other.
