With the "mastery enemy" second option, even when it succeeds I don't get a mech in my haven at the end of the mission.

Just did a lib 1 hack the train missions, and I successfully "master enemy" hacked an advent mech (the white basic one, not a drone or tower), and then evacced/won the mission. When I evacuated I noticed the "hack effect lost" above the mech even though I evacced specialist last, and no mech for my haven. The skill's ? button explicitly says if they both live at end of mission then I get a mech at the haven, and the mech doesn't need to evac. I met the conditions, and got not no mech.

Tested on an ambush mission (no evac, corpses recovered), I "mastered enemy" on a drone and got no mec at the end. Has anyone gotten the master enemy option to actually work?

It may just be an information bug/oversight.

IE: next time the haven in that region gets a combat mission, the Mec should be there. There's just no way to tell other than actually starting one of those missions.

Master Enemy on a drone won't give you a Mec, it just gives you a stat-boosted drone for the rest of the mission.

You should be able to see how many MECs you have in the Haven Management screen.

Sorry, getting certain things into the post-mission rewards readout is a pain.

Anyway, I'll run a test and see if something's wrong.

Edit: I think something's wrong.

Something wrong indeed. I had a mission where my Full Override wasn't being expended after a successful hack, and none of the mecs i hacked transferred over.
