Yes, I know there are major changes coming which I am really looking forward to and this may be one of those areas.

I am baffled as to why the graphic when another faction's probes arrive seem to be telling me that I can construct bases at probed location. Obviously, I cannot (not that this stopped me from trying) even though the text box plainly says I can.
So the question is therefore - is the text wrong, or the act of sending my faction notification of another's probes a bug please?
I suspect the latter.....

This is a bug (the text) and an unfriendly default setting (alerts for enemy probes). Both are fixed in 0.3.123. You can still get alert popups for enemy probes if you turn them back on in options, and the text should be clear in that case.
